Prices and Payment

All prices are in £ sterling and include UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards, payment is taken at the time of placing the order. We will endeavour to notify you within the product pages if items are special order or out of stock.

Delivery

We only deliver within the mainland UK. We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver within 2-3working days. For small items we used Royal Mail Tracked 48 service and for large items we use APC next day. If you require an item urgently then please phone before placing the order to check stock status and to make us aware so we can do our best to get it to you next day, extra charge may be requested. 

In the unlikely event your item is lost then Royal Mail state: "please wait 15 days (from the due date of delivery) before completing this form as we would not consider an item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed. We allow the 15 working days for items to be returned to Caravan Tech if there are any delivery problems.

Delivery Costs

The delivery costs for the UK mainland are dependant upon the total weight & the bulk of the items you order, but range from £4.50 to £29.99.  All items must be checked for damage within 24 hours of receipt. For other parts of the UK please contact us for delivery cost.

Purchasing

All items offered on our website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on our web site, click the "add to basket" button shown on each product page. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button "proceed to checkout", we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've accepted your order or dispatched the product to you. The contract will be filed. For safety reasons your order's data are not accessible via internet. We keep these data in confidence according to our privacy policy.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and return them for a full refund. This will apply to your order unless you order items that by their nature cannot be returned, video, dvd, audio or software products and the item has been unsealed, newspapers, periodicals or magazines. Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email, fax or letter. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. The goods must be returned in saleable condition at your expense and we would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. Should you order, details of this right will be sent to you with your confirmatory e-mail.

We currently collect and process personal information either via our website enquiry forms, face to face, email or telephone.

Our email service is hosted by Exchange and all other forms of contact are managed by Caravan Tech Sales Ltd. directly.

Your information is securely stored digitally at our premises. 

We keep your data such as your name, telephone number and email address on our database for future communications and will contact you annually for your approval to retain such information. This information will not be shared. 

By entering this agreement, you are agreeing to this unless you specifically refuse permission.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

Refunds and Returns Policy

Return Window for New Items

Customers can return new items within 30 days of purchase. To qualify for a return, products must be in immaculate condition to ensure they are fit for resale.

Lost Items

In the unlikely event your item is lost, Royal Mail states:

General Return Guidelines

  • All items must be returned to the correct location.
  • The RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be clearly visible on the outside of the package.
  • Ensure valuable goods are insured and include a copy of the receipt.
  • Include a brief cover letter explaining why the goods are being returned.
  • Goods must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  • Use a service requiring a signature upon delivery, as goods are returned at the buyer's own risk.

Consumer Protection and Order Cancellations

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel an order without reason by the end of the seventh working day after receiving your goods.

  • This does not apply to business-to-business transactions.

Refund and Exchange Conditions

  • Non-refundable Postage Costs: We will not refund return postage costs exceeding the original dispatch charge unless the goods are faulty.
  • Specifically Ordered Products: Products ordered specifically for you are non-refundable unless faulty.
  • Incomplete Orders: Notify us within 48 hours of receipt if your order is incomplete. Claims made after this time cannot be accepted.

Faulty Products

  • Notify us in writing if a product fails to operate or arrives faulty.
  • Return the item in its original, re-saleable packaging and condition.
  • At our discretion, we will:
    • Exchange it for a new product.
    • Replace it with a model of equal or higher value.
    • Credit the invoice price.

Unwanted Products

  • If you ordered the wrong product, return it unopened and in its original re-saleable packaging for an exchange or refund (subject to a 10% restocking fee, excluding VAT). Postage and packing fees may not be refunded unless the goods are faulty.

RMA Number Requirements

All returned goods must display the RMA number clearly on the package. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of items without an RMA number.

Statutory Rights

Terms and conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.
