Pollinating Walk at Merriments
Join us for a unique and immersive afternoon exploring the world of native pollinators with our Head Gardener, Dan.
Date: Thursday 28th May | 1pm lunch | 2pm talk | 3pm guided walk | 4pm finish
Dan will share his knowledge and passion for the vital role of pollinators in our gardens and countryside, followed by a guided walk through the beautiful Merriments grounds. During the session, we’ll be gently identifying and observing pollinators up close before releasing them back into their natural habitat. He will also share advice on the best plants to introduce into your own garden to help attract and support pollinators.
Optional 2-course lunch (1pm):
Rosemary focaccia with roast chicken, whipped feta, lemon zest, thyme, hot honey & rocket
Vegetarian option: roasted aubergine & peppers, pesto & rocket
Followed by an apple & honey puff pastry tart
