TWINFEST 2025: A Celebration of Community, Campervans, and a Cause

At the end of June, we had the absolute pleasure of seeing something truly special unfold: TWINFEST 2025 – a community-led, non-profit event celebrating 60 years of Adria. And what made it even more meaningful for us was that this fantastic event was hosted by one of our very own customers, Katrina and Steve Mercer, who picked up their Adria Twin Sports 640 SLB from us back in March 2024.

What began as a casual idea between 4 friends, Kat, Steve, Nicola and Malcom, blossomed into a full-blown celebration with an incredible sense of purpose. Nearly 80 Adria Twin vans gathered in Staffordshire, filling the field at The Star Camping and Caravan Rally Field with over 150 owners and 36 dogs – a sight that was both impressive and heartwarming.

From the moment the gates opened, Kat, one of the lovely organisers, said the atmosphere was electric. There were welcome drinks and nibbles in the marquee, live music from brilliant local bands, delicious food, and even a visit from Adam Clark of Adria, who brought along demonstration vans and gifts for attendees. Everyone came together with a shared love for adventure and van life, and it showed in every smile, every conversation, and every new connection made.

The marquee buzzed each evening with laughter, dancing, and the energy of a community united by travel. Whether it was the quiz, the performances, or the simple joy of sharing stories over a drink — it was a weekend to remember.

This wasn’t just about a weekend of fun – although there was plenty of that. It was about giving back. The entire event was non-profit, with all leftover funds and money raised through a raffle going to three incredibly worthy charities: Alzheimer's UK, North Air Ambulance, and Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

We were blown away by the generosity and effort that went into the event, especially the time and energy our customers (and their team of fellow Adria owners) poured into organizing it. From securing raffle prizes and sponsors to coordinating bands, marquees, catering, and insurance – it was a huge undertaking, and they pulled it off brilliantly.

It’s been a real privilege to watch their journey from new owners to event organisers, bringing together a community built on shared passions. Their enthusiasm, dedication, and big-hearted approach is exactly what makes the Adria community so special – and we couldn’t be prouder to see a customer of ours take the lead on such a meaningful initiative.

TWINFEST 2025 was more than just a meet-up. It was a celebration of friendship, purpose, and the spirit of travel. We're honoured to have played a small part in their story, and we know this is just the beginning of many more great adventures to come.
